In two weeks of tour, we discover the best places and monuments of the historic cities of Morocco. We learn more about the dynasties that ruled Morocco for centuries and the country's ancient history. We discover Berber culture and the lifestyle of the inhabitants of the mountains, valleys, and desert.
Our tour starts from Casablanca. This is the largest and biggest city in Morocco. In Casablanca we visit HassanII mosque, Habouss quarter, central market and we enjoy a walk on la Corniche and beautiful view on the Atlantic ocean.
In Fes medina, the full day visit is one of the highlights of this trip. We start by exploring the Jewish quarter called “Mellah “ then we drive to the top of a hill to enjoy the beautiful view on the medina and it's monuments. After exploring the pottery section we start our adventure in the narrow alleyways and crowded market places. We learn about the leather manufacturing process when we visit the tanneries of Fes which are the biggest in Morocco and where the artisans offer the best quality of leather products.
The Sahara (Desert of Merzouga). After the pressure and the noise of the cities, we drive to the south across the middle-Atlas Mountains to Midelt the city of Apple. We continue throught the High-Atlas to explore beautiful landscapes in the Ziz valley. In Erg Echebbi we ride the camels and enjoy the sunset from the top of the dunes.
Programm :
1st day : Arrival day in Casablanca (meeting with the tour leader in the hotel).
2nd day : Visit of Casablanca, and Rabat, continuation to Meknes.
3th day : Visit of Meknes, Volubilis and drive to the north to Chefchaouen.
-4th day : visit of the medina, 2nd night in Chefchaouen
5th day : Drive to Fes via Ouezzane.
6th day : Kncluded visit of Fes.
7th day : Across the middle-Atlas Mountains to Midelt. Short hike in the countryside.
8th day : Drive to the south via Errachidia along Ziz-valley ti Erg Echebbi in Merzouga.
9th day : visit of nomad family, and Ouzina (Fnaoua music).
19 day : Continuation to Todgha Gorges, and Boumalen Dades.
10 day : Drive to the valley of roses, hike in the valley.
11th day : Towards Ouarzazete, we continue to Ait Benhaddou world heritage site.
12 day : Drive across the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Half day visit of the medina.
13 day : excursion to Essaouira , visit of the medina,
14 day : Drive to Casablanca.
15 day : Transfer to the airport.
